KONWIHR Workshop on October 6, 2025: New projects 2025/1

Being supported by KONWIHR also means being part of a network of researchers with similar challenges. All (newly) supported projects are invited to briefly present and discuss their project with us and the other recently funded projects.

When: Monday, October 6, 2025, 10:00-12:00.

Where: Online using the TUM Informatics BigBlueButton instance.  Joining by audio is enough.

The workshop mainly includes presentations from the successful projects of the latest round. Agenda:

  • 10:00 – 10:10: Opening and KONWIHR introduction
  • 10:10 – 10:30: Efficient Training Principles for Small Neural Networks on High-Performance Computing(HPC) Systems – Prof. Kist(FAU)
  • 10:30 – 10:50:  Auto-calibration of physics-based fully-distributed model WaSiM – Dr. Fan(FAU)
  • 10:50 – 11:10: Bringing MGLET’s particle module to GPUs – Dr. Sakai on the behalf of Prof. Manhart(TUM)
